Allright. Here's a scene from my movie. Please excuse the low sound quality and small movie size, but I'm using someone else's bandwitdh and webspace, so I tried to keep it small. Just wanted to share, with all the movies people have been posting lately, I wanted to get in on it, hehe. Drawbridgep really inspired me. (check out his awesome Tron stuff) No, not all the sound editing is done, so that's why much of the sound is lame. In fact, you wouldn't be missing out on much if you didn't even have any speakers, but whatever. Some of it's fun. Have a look! And feel free to tell me what you think. (I say that under the assumption that what, you normally DONT feel free to tell? weird.) never mind. http://www.s92200393.onlinehome.us/MrDodo/LeavingNTO.mov So check it out!

VERY COOL!!! Really nice to see your great models animated. That must have taken a while to do. And integrating the models with real backdrops!! That's very tricky. I AM IMPRESSED.

Yes, it is very nice to see your stuff animated, very cool. The compositioning was great, and in some shots it looked spectacular, especially when the ship goes between two buildings and looks like its about to land. I liked the CG parts most, but that's because all your CG stuff is awesome. Also, the sound isn't that bad, and I still think it adds to the movie. Very cool to see your stuff animated!

Some brill stuff MrDB. This is so good it's scarey. I shudder to think what you could do with a huge budget. I bet some day soon we'll be seeing your name in movie credits!

sad face I'm on dial up, I won't be able to check this out today. Hope I can catch it tomorrow when I can leave it opening for like an hour.

Ang - Dial up! I remember that. I've come to America and thereby upgraded from 512k to 1.5mb and today we're getting 3meg cable woohoo!! OK, slightly off topic, but I'm very excited about being able to download movies like this in seconds.

Nice work MrD, great compositing, other then the odd missing shadow - but given bryce doesn't do matte materials, it'd need hand painting! :( Didn't get any sound at all??? which one are you in the video? :)

Awesome stuff! The part where they landed, and everyone filed out of the ships was intense! Impressive work.

Aye, I'm impressed, it looks like you spent a lot of time on this one! I can' believe we didn't get to see any WIP shots... (growls) Very nice, and it would make a great demo reel. Try and DVD-ify it, see if it works?!?
