THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: What are those things called?

I've created a new picture, but not gonna put it in the gallery, since it's almost identical to my last, but I created those flying things from Tron and wanted to show them off. Gonna work on Tron tanks next. The depressing thing here is that probably a lot of you weren't even born when the film came out.

Boy, do I feel old... but you're only as young as you feel... The movie called them "Recognizers" and they were the flying craft of the MCP (or Master Control Program). Basically the equivalent of helicopter recon vehicles... Ken dork.gif

Today its fighting and fighting or fighting or... :(

Don't worry Rochr. If you go around the corner behind the Skeeball there's still a whole row of racing games. (Hydro Thunder and Sega Rally are some of my favs.) And I think they still have some classic games in the area by the pinball machines. I also vaguely remember Tron, and it's associated video game. I wonder if it's the first movie to have a game based on it? I liked the speeder bike levels in the game, but wasn't so keen on the part where that guy chucks killer discs at my guy.

I too am old enough to remember this. In fact Tron was the game my boyfriend at the time used to play. I couldn't get into that one. I loved Joust. You rode on these flapping Rocs (I think). Oh so long ago.

Everyone liked the cycles best. Anyone tried the new version (2.0) that came out last year? I played for a while, but then got bored of it. Bit of a CPU killer too (like some 3d apps I could mention)

At least I wasn't born when 2001 came out. :-)

There's nothing worse then someone that works for you explaining they weren't born when you finished college :( Tron is still one of the all time greats I love it.....

saw it when i was 17 or so, liked the 3deffects (not the foamrubber suits with glow in the dark paint lol) but found the story alittle too much jesus saves the world as in that first matrix movie. best scene was when they rode the data line.

for some free stuff i made
and for almost daily fotos

Born in "Summer of '64" . Saw the movie, played the stand up acrade version of the game back in the days of real video gaming. Love it.

Anyone remember the old arcade game "Death Race 2000" ??
Just wondering,
