Looks great, although the barrel seems a bit too wide and a bit too curved at the sides. Are you planning on making the stock retractable?

The stock for the XM8 is already retractable on the Standard and Sharp Shooter Versions. If you look closely at the last image (Variation #3 Sharp Shooter) you can see the stock is pulled out.

As for the barrel shape and size, the specs for this model were taken from the Heckler and Koch PDF Manual. Although I don't have a front view of, the model is pretty accurate as far as scale and the specs of the actual gun. Hope I've answered your questions to your satisfaction.
