I am working on a construction kit - some easy-to-use modules that allow you to quickly construct houses, facades, palaces ... this is a long term project. what parts do you suggest ?

A round tower maybe? France

A column gallery, marble floors, outer walls, entrance gate and such. The content looks pretty good, seems like it will be a nice construction set.

how about a peice that has the cut outs like a castle top along the edge for the top of your wall |-||-|_ ??

Sounds like a good idea. But - is this planned to be a commercial product or not ? I'd look around at whats already available out there and try to fill a 'niche' thats not been tried before. And decide if it's to be a 'fantasy' place, or based on RL period. There seems to be plenty of castle/temple sort of stuff around..but very little in say, oriental/islamic styles..just my two cents worth.

Maybe a few different doorways? Like a traditional castle type doorway as well as the one already done.

Nice idea. Bevel/chamfer the model edges a little to get your parts more lifelike. Try some daily grime too.

hi - thnsk for the suggestions :) at the moment i am not so sure if this will be a commercial or a free package. i am inclined to give it away for free - or at least some items. there are way too many castle set all around. oriental style is a good idea :) here is another wall object - an entrance gate with pinnacles as someone suggested.

The arches are a good idea, and an oriental flavor would really set it off from what else is out there. Wish you luck!
