As some of you may know, this clickable collection relies on the way 'osity had been naming thumbnails in their database. For example, a thumbnail called "GalleryThumb713428" would link to an image at "http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=713428". The "713428" number in common made all of this magic possible. This LWitG collection was never an official Renderosity operation; just something I had been doing for fun while sorting out all the soft porn from Gallery. This relied on the image naming convention, which was never published or promised by the 'osity management. Unfortunately, for reasons which I am sure are very good, today 'osity changed the manner of naming and displaying thumbnails. Now, every thumb is a bmp with filename "untitled". [Though I'm sure they had very good reasons... anyone else notice how much this slows the download? Otherwise, the bmp is not a problem, just the non-descriptive nane.] So, because of this naming change, this will unfortunately be the last weekly collection of Gallery images. I will be pursuing through official channels how we may recover this feature, as folks here really seemed to like the weekly collection. However with the new naming scheme I do not right off hand see an easy way to do this without a huge manual effort. I deeply appreciate all the encouragement, hugz, and smoochies all of you have rewarded me with this past few months.

:( whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! yes... i noticed it's taking longer to load a page of thumbs... wonder what the reasoning was behind it :/ sob... i'll miss your "LWITG"! as well as you missing your weekly hugz... thanks for your hard work on these, i feel like i should post a complaint... sigh huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugz!!!

Sad news, your pretty LWITG has helped me very much. Thanks again, I hope you solve these problems and to see "your week" again. Renderosity is very slow now certainly.

Oh Misha say it isn't true... I have really enjoyed this feature you have been providing just because it helps me see some images that otherwise I may have missed. I hope things get worked out soon. And I thought it was my computer that was the problem! :( Brenda :(

Typical, I manage to get three pictures in LWITG and then the plug gets pulled .....Hmpht!

Hm I've just checked the names of several random thumbnails in the photography gallery and they were all named like you said: GalleryThumbxxxxx.jpg. On my end I don't see any bmp called untitled. Can't imagine they would resort to BMP files either, that would make absolutely no sence from a storage POV or a bandwith POV.

ok... i just checked "properties" too on the thumbs... saw what 3DGuy says... so what gives misha? hmmmmmmm? you need help putting these together? :]

Right now, everything past about Gallery ID 718475 shows up as untitled.bmp when I right-click Save picture as, at least here it does. Started nearly between July 16/17 transition. In "properties" the name shows correctly. Curiousier and curioser...

i don't know misha... when i save pic as... it still shows gallery#.jpg... so the LWITG may still be a go! :D

Really odd... In 'Osity site, anything newer than last night, if right clicked is named untitled.bmp. Image stores OK as a bmp file. Older images work fine. Also, does not allow me to View->Source. I'm suspecting some sort of new security measure, but so far no one in the Mods Forum has fessed up.

The fix (searching Google: right click save picture untitled bmp) worked! Another fine quality product from Redmond; where they drive fishooks into their backs for entertainment. Damned if I can understand why the bug affected new Galleries, but not the old... So, looks like I can continue to look forward to hugz and smoochies!

Maybe it's a caching thing that left the old one in .jpg for you. and people wonder why I use Mozilla ;)
