hey folks, this is the chancery set from liteluvr's cathedral creation set. it's a super quick render for my film, but it came out pretty well and wanted to show it to you all. enjoy!

Looks nice so far. What has struck me about the old Cathedrals is the drama of the lighting. They were lit by natural light during the day and candles at night, and you always had strong shadows, often strongly defined pools (with the rest of the building in subdued light). I remember particularly a knight's chapel at Westminster Abbey -- all pale marble, white and cream, but the colored light coming through the stained glass lit the dust-motes and the reclining figure with subtle but gorgeous highlights of color.

wow, sounds cool. glad you like the cathedral so far! unfortunately i lost my brand new maxtor hard drive today. everything is gone: poser and lightwave, the cathedral, all my characters... damn. it's gonna be a long night.
