Actually Microsoft Flight Simulator has so many good aircraft cockpits I use those, heh! (Many are free if you visit the great FlightSim websites).Attached Link: http://www.iw43d.com/Poser/Vehicles/Planes/Planes.htm
---But you can also get nice 3D cockpits from models made by IW43D- these include 737, Cessna, DC-3 and Gulfstream business jet. For excellent chopper control panels (but not Poser ready) Flight Simulator models are the best- you just need to be creative...jhoagland has got a blackhawk in the MP here, with a great interior. I've just loaded it into poser and am starting to play with it for the first time, so I can't tell you much else yet. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
The IW planes are excellent too and have moveable controls and really nice interior too. I don't know if there's a chopper with interior though. I don't think so. Love esther

Very good model!!!! So what format do these models come in and how do they look in poser? Is it easy to put a vickie or a mike in one of these? love esther

I have a plane that has a really detailed cockpit (the most detailed p51 on the internet..at least I like to say that...lol) Its in my store here and is made for Poser with all kinds of textures, options etc.

" I have a plane that has a really detailed cockpit (the most detailed p51 on the internet..at least I like to say that...lol) Its in my store here and is made for Poser with all kinds of textures, options etc." Wow. Great model. Looks like all the detail was modeled into it too, not just texture decals. Awesome work. :-)
Tools : 3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender
v2.74
System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB
GPU.
estherau- This is a Microsoft Flight Simulator model. You need to have version "2004" to use this B-25 model, which is INCREDIBLY detailed inside and out. Plus, ALL the instruments on the panel really work and respond in realtime to how you are flying it. That's where MS Flight Sim fans get their kicks- flying authentic virtual aircraft in real-world weather conditions and using any of 25,000 world-wide airports available. The skies in 2004 are even better than Bryce or Vue skies- and in Real-Time. But- FS 2004 models are not compatible with Poser- yet. But it is only a matter or time before this happens. I am surprised DAZ studio isn't paying attention to this as the Flight Sim market is MUCH BIGGER than the Poser market. Brycetech- you should try your hand at producing models for the Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace! Most people use either GMAX or Flight Simulator Design Studio (or both) as these have the correct tools to allow importing into FS 2004. If you like doing aircraft, its a HUGE marketplace.

A New Era in 3D Design! Create Aircraft & 3D Scenery Easily! FS Design Studio Pro is a general-purpose 3D-object design software package made specifically for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, 2002, and 2004! It is based on the Computer Aided Design (CAD) approach to designing real world models. FS Design Studio has a multitude of tools, powerful techniques and timesaving shortcuts that you can use to create almost any kind of accurate 3D textured object to use with Microsoft's Flight Simulator.Attached Link: http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/
lexland- The place you might want to actually start is with Discreet's FREE GMAX, which many of the new FS 2004 models are being made with. However, it is basically MAX and some find it harder to learn. Louis Sinclair's FS Design Studio is considered easier, but less powerful, depending upon your modeling skills, etc. (Abacus is the publisher of Louis Sinclair's FS Design Studio...) http://www.abacuspub.com/ (Game Developers & Publishers: Design and Sell Better Games with gmax in your pipeline. This is an excellent website for GMAX import and export plug-ins, including those that will support Poser (like OBJ). Using 3D Exploration is a great util for improving compatibility between various 3D apps- and others are listed on this site as well... (Other FS Models, Utilities, etc. are found here...) http://www.daviator.com/links.htm (Aircraft Model Blueprints, schematics, etc, here...) http://www.freeflightdesign.com/resources.htmlAttached Link: http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_fsds.htm
This DC-3 Virtual Cockpit- in which you can pan around in all views, and which ALL the instruments REALLY WORK - including throttles, switches, etc., - was done in GMAX. ******************************************************* Here's a link to CVA Converter which can convert Flight Simulator Design Studio UTILS and Converter files...CVA Converter v1.0 This utility is converter of 3D objects which can work with folowing object formats: FS Design Studio object (.fsc) - import/export, FS Design Studio part (.fsp) - import/export, AutoCAD DXF (.dxf) - import/export, LightWave 3D (.lwo) - import, Wavefront (*.obj) - export. With this program You can make your 3D models in high-end modelers and FSDS use only for texturing and final export into FS or you can easily convert your model from FSDS into gMax. It's successor of CVA plugins, which works well with new versions of FSDS.
The Above link also has this very useful util to convert GMAX to FSDS files... Converting Gmax into FSDS2 files is a lot like sex after marriage. It's a slow painful process that no one wants to do, but everyone has to. Seriously though, since the wonderful folks at Abacus have yet to give us this import capability in FSDS, and since Gmax continues to have features that FSDS does not, there continues to be a need for importing and exporting between the two programs. This package attempts to provide the user with the necessary tools to accomplish this goal. Kit compiled by Kevin Ryan.

Is there a place I can find some kind of helicopter or airplane cockpit? Thanks!
