Hi all... This has most likely been asked many times, I have searched the forums and haven't found anything... I have been using Poser Pro Pack for almost 3 years and just today got an error message then poser went bye bye.. The message was: -------- Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! c:blah blahblahetcPOSER.exe abnormal program termination ------- This has never happened before.. I was rendering V3 with a tex i made & Lisbeth's new free hair... I have rendered this texture of mine many times before, with zero problems. So i'm stumpted.. :( I have lots of memory (512rdram) i had only just started up my pc & resources were high, a 128 Nvidia graphics card, p4 1700ghz pc I wasn't running any other programs or anti-virus software at the time. Nor have any virus's floating about. The only thing that was different, that i can possibly think of was my PC was running in High Colour (16bit), rather than my usual True Colour (32bit) as i was using a program yesterday that requires a lower setting.. Would this make poser crash? I also checked to see if anything i was using had an rsr geometry file, as i've read they can become corrupt and nothing did. Hmmmmmm.. I have never had any error messages whilst using poser before. Any help would be appreciated, if you need any further info to aid you in figuring this out just ask... Thanks in advance -SimderZ- xXx

I think it maybe time to backup and re-install.

I believe this is actually a windows error. You might try checking in Microsofts Knowledge base.

OK.. OK. LAS_61 is quite correct. It is a windows error so if I'm to help you I will need to know a few things about your system. What operating system? What Service Pack Version? At what point in the poser process does it crash? Let's start there.

The error message indictates the C++ runtime. Have you loaded any new applications very recently. It is possible that something loaded in a newer version of one (or more) of the C++ runtime modules. regards.

try it again with the higher colors, could be poser didn't like the lower color settings

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.
