Hmm, have never successfully made a banner before. Will give it a go. But..... 383x60!!??!! You know how hard it is to put 5 castles, 2000 skeletons, a grassy knoll, and a partidge in a pear tree into that small a space??!!??? Sheesh, girl, you set some tough standards.

very kind offer; if you have a small space for mine as well, that would be great. I look forward to adding your banner to my site; i guess a direct link to your links page as well will give everyone a comprehensive list.Experience is no substitute for blind faith.

See the periods after the first carrat, and before the end carrat? They allow you to see the actual coding without it screwing up Rosity's page html, to use the coding on 'your' page and have it work as a link you would need to remove those periods then cut and paste into the page, remembering to refer to the image and close with the <./a.>.... note: see the periods in the code? otherwise it wouldn't show...:)

Jan: Thanks. Maybe it's too early in the day for me, but could you please write the code here without anything I need to take away...? I have no idea what a 'carrat' is unless it's t he weight of a gemstone....

< > = left and right carrat with out the periods you wouldn't be able to see the coding at all, however to simplify; http://www.zhanns-place.com/za/index.html add to that when you code it as a link right after the url the tag; title="The Digital Artist's Resource, Free downloads, textures, models, wallpapers, screensavers, more!..." this is another way to get more info into a small area of a button or banner that is a link, it's the link equivalent of the image 'alt=' tag....

I have some stuff that you could link to, but no banners for them. Just some free 3d model downloads, as all my renders are here at Renderosity.
And if you're wondering how I got the < > to work, it's just a matter of using < >. Simple HTML stuff.
Your friendly neighborhood Wings3D nut.
Also feel free to browse my freebies at ShareCG.

Greetings, I'm updating my links page and wondered if anyone with a site would like their graphic banner included? my site gets moderate traffic and is linked from other heavier traffic sites. I'd prefer a graphic banner as opposed to text, because images catch people's eyes, especially if they are colorful. Size would need to be 383x60. Either post them here and the url or email them to me, zhannartwerx@msn.com No flash, or animated gifs please....they seem to turn people off instantly....
