Where south of Atlanta, Butch? I have good friends who live in Sandersville, about an hour and half south of Atlanta.

About 45 minutes south of Atlanta. I live right now in a little town called Jenkinsburg. If you have ever hear of Jackson Lake, and the town of Jackson, we are about 5 miles north of Jackson on Hwy 23. I am about 15 minutes east of the GA Dianogstic Center. (Prison).

Easy solution for the heat problem: Turn up the AC and stay in the house and enjoy your new toys...

I did and I am. My room is the one in the house that is ACed. I have to have because of having MS. Heat sometimes does some really unpleasent things to me besides just being hot...

And update to the latest P5 as soon as possible!

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Wow, Butch, I live in McDonough! We have a cabin at Lake Jackson.

Howdy Neighbor! I have a friends that live in McDonough. I have lived down here most of my life. Have you ever tried Fresh Air BarBQ!!! It is simply the best. The first thing I did when I got back online was to get the latest update. I am amazed at how well P5 is working. After reading all the headaches and heartaches that others have had. It installed and is working so smoothly that it is scary. The render times are only sightly longer than P4. I admit that I am still only using simple scenes. The renders seem to be a little crisper and brighter too. In P4 I noticed that the renders would sometimes appear to be washed out or the colors and lighted slightly muted...

Never tried that BBQ but I've eaten plenty of times at OB's! And I bought PLENTY of boiled peanuts from that guy who sold them for years across from that service station (in old times, called "Duke's Store") but modernized now. I think people still call it Dukes (LOL).

Butch ( ) posted Mon, 26 July 2004 at 11:30 AM

OB's is nothing compared to Fresh Air. It has been written up in the NY Times as the best BarBQ. If you don't know where it is, it is just outside of Jackson on the way to Indian Springs. Try it and I don't you will be disappointed. By the way did you know that Indian Springs was the first state park anywhere in the USA?

You have MS? my sister was just diagnosed with it a couple of months ago.

Butch ( ) posted Fri, 06 August 2004 at 10:47 PM

I have had MS since 1989. Actually according to my Doctors, I probably had back as far as High School. Tell you your sister to remember to laugh. If you can laugh about MS, then ain't beat you. I told a group of MS patients and their families that I was glad that I had MS, A hush fell over the group as they tried to figure out if I gone completely crazy or what. Then I told them why. "I always thought that I was just a klutz. You know always falling over things, triping over the lines on the tile floor and banging into the hallway as I walked it. Now I know that I have MS and there is something wrong with me, I know that I am NOT A KLUTZ! The group broke up with laughter, or at least the other MS patients did. Sometimes you gotta laugh where you can find one. Sorry I haven't replied sooner, but I have on the road and setting up the new computer and learning Poser 5!
