*"Do I really have to do this for a passport photo?*"

I'm been picking up a few props for scenes, and the Fast3D site is one of the places to check. One of the unexpected bits of good stuff is the photo studio set (and one of the easy improvements is a Height morph for the studio lights). The background alone is a useful hook into real pictures for a render.

There's also stuff such as canvases and easels for if you want to make an image of a traditional paint-artist. It's a very useful little package, and I thought I'd remind people.

And a little fun render...

"Do I really have to do this for a passport photo?" < Yes, I'm afraid so - the new rules for US entry are really tough. We're going to need a lot of different angles, this is going to take quite a while.... > Nice, thanks! I'm off to go look :o) :] Fish

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Nothing from him for 3 months now. Could be bad news, I hope not. :(

I got an email from him not long ago. He'll be online more once the weather turns colder, but for now it's summer and he's not on his computer so much. Shanna :-)

Good to hear it. I ought to check his site for a camera on a tripod, but I don't remember seeing one.

Good news, but you mean he has a life? :) Penguinisto has a tripod and camera - low poly, but ok for scene setting.

Good start, yes, though Something resembling a Hasselblad might fit better with a photo studio. Thanks for the link.
