Subject: Any want for the PTGirls?

odeathoflife ( ) posted Mon, 02 August 2004 at 5:36 PM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 8:52 PM

Well I picked up the PTGirls the other day and am wondering what, if any, clothing you want for them. The 1st few will be freebees of course so I can work in the chracters. So is there any want for the PTGirls?

more "junior" versions of the stuff already available for the "adults", and stuff to fit Thorne's great characters :)

(I had a snappy comeback but deleted it) I figure dresses are already covered to a massive extent, as that is 90% of what I have searched for and found is a dress. But do you have anything in particular you would like to have?>

clothes that would fit the thorne girls and more young adult clothing for them also some nice shoes that may have heels

Baggy jeans Hi-waisted "Shirley-temple" pinafores Culottes (sp?) Frocks Baggy sweatshirts, jerseys and sweatpants. Period clothes of all types, Medieval thru 1950's How about "Mommy's dress-up" clothes - deliberately over-sized adult clothes baggy and bunched up on a child playing dress-up. Most of the stuff I see is 'way too snug and/or form fitting to look like the outfits I see real kids wear in real life - I'd like to see more of the hand-me-down look of clothes intended to be worn for several months thru a growth spurt or two.

I agree with SndCastie. I would like to see fairy clothing for her as well.

I seem to be suffering from a lack of clarity of late, lol, so let me try again. and I'd love to read the snappy comeback! ok, what I meant was that one of my favortie outfits of all time is the Blacker Magic outfit. The reason for this is that it's the first time someone has taken the mil girls and really created something cool for them. I'm still looking forward to the blacker magic for V3 outfit. What I'd like to see is something that's as original and thoughful for them as all the stuff being made for the adult figures. And, ideally, it would be made to fit Thorne's girls, or even Nia from blackhearted, or some figure in those veins who tend to be more like small adults. Now, the market in them is heavily faerie oriented. I want stuff that's simply not "kid clothes". Some examples to look at for what I mean by cool stuff: Celtic Princess, CygnusX:Sci Pirate, Firedancer for V3 -- RDNA V3 Leatherwear, The Huntress, Platina Armor, MOS Liberator, Outlander -- DAZ The less "fashion" and more fantastic stuff being done wusamah, and Awful Soul's line of stuff. These are examples of cool clothing. I'm not saying make it work like their stuff does, but something like that -- original and cool looking. Heck, I'll do designs and map 'em if ya want to join the Foundry, ODOL, lol.

want to add, just for the record, that the same applies to the mil boys. And they are REALLY in need of good clothing...

I'd like to see more real clothing like real teen girls actually wear in real life.

Thanks for asking.

well, now I'm going to second xenophonz' request as well. I was going to point out the fever fashions collection, but it's gone to CD, so the whole thing is sorta pricey ina single chunk (but it does give you pretty much everything ya need ina normal sense).

Nice clothes ynsaen, but I don't like the soles on the shoes so high that way. Makes 'em look to "clodhoppery" in my opinion.

"How about "Mommy's dress-up" clothes - deliberately over-sized adult clothes baggy and bunched up on a child playing dress-up." That would be so great!!!!

Oh, gosh, the Mommy Dress Up would be GREAT!!!

And, errr, if you ever get Kaila (Handspan Studios, available at DAZ), I'm fairly sure you could get some sales on clothes made especially for her. Her JPs and scaling is way different and the poor girl has almost nothing to wear. :( She's just adorable, though, and I know plenty of people have bought her...

Oh, and I've heard LOADS of people say this... Jewelry that is smart-propped or which conforms to the Millenium Girls! Simple earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Lots of little girls wear jewelry on special occasions, and I know lots of girls who had their ears pierced as babies, so there's certainly "real world" precedent for little girls wearing jewelry (even pre-schoolers).

Well, I am one of the ones that would love to see things like Archer outfits etc for the PTs both boy and girl. Some fantasy boots, tunics etc.

I said this some time ago, there is enough "cute" to last a lifetime for the PTGirls. Enough "cute"! How about some nice SciFi outfits. An archer outfit sounds great, kayjay97. Just No More "cute".

kayjay97 ( ) posted Tue, 03 August 2004 at 8:43 AM

LOL shadowblade. I agree about the cute. I love fairies but I have a lot of fairy stuff. I want fanatsy (LOTR ) type and yes, sci fi stuff :)

nomuse ( ) posted Tue, 03 August 2004 at 12:31 PM

In beta testing at this moment with a Robin Hood-inspired outfit for the PT girl. Hope to have it out as soon as the current crunch at work ends.

randym77 ( ) posted Wed, 04 August 2004 at 10:23 AM

I'd like some dynamic clothing. PS/PT conforming clothing tends to look sort of stiff.

I use the MilGirls mostly for fantasy, but prefer stuff that's less provocative than, say, Blacker Magic. It's a beautiful outfit, but I personally prefer a more childlike look for the PT. I love FK Design's Heaven Closet for the PT Girl.
