hi, this is the work of this afternoon, starting at 14,00 and end at 18,00. My speed increase and this is good for the vue community :) my original idea was use this model for the august challenge and after release it... but i think is better for all partecipants have another model at start of challenge, so i'm working on detail of new model (like roof textures...) i hope to release tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Comments are always welcome. Luca.

keep this up and your next model will be a whole city with each individual house modelled differently and cobbled streets with markets on them!! ;) All your models are amazing, and your Radiosity Scene generator is a great great tool too. Thank you Greatly

Hey Luca! Your models are truly awesome! Any chance of a small tutorial giving us untalented modellers an insight into how you create these amazing models? Nothing too in depth - just a few tips would be great... Thanks, T.

You did this in one afternoon??? It took me 1 day to model a screwdriver for a 3D class I'm taking... You are really, really good. Thank you again!

Hahaha - it took me longer than that to make 4 crenellated walls and 4 round corner towers... Luca - we need some tips on how you approach a model and start to make one. Learning from a master would be awesome! T.

thanx all for appreciate my work... i will post a simple step-by-step tutorial: my last models are made in 3d studio, and only "borgo antico" come from Vue primitives... the best modeling are made in 3d studio so, i think is better a tutorial using 3d studio, tell me what you think... similar models in Vue is to time-expensive, if you prefer a "pure vue" tutorial i must have more time to create it and you must be patience... Luca

Hi Luca, again another great model and unbelievable how fast you created it!! Like the others, I'm really amazed by your skills and grateful for such wonderful objects. Regarding a tutorial, I guess not many people would actually try modelling things like these castles in pure Vue - and those who do will not need any instructions anymore ;-) Taking into account, however, that not everyone will be using 3D Studio, IMHO it would be most useful to show the general approach you take when creating a model - like which favored techniques / tools do you use, where do you start, after which material - if any - do you work (drawings, photos)? Especially the methods that make for the fast progress and the important things to consider for the high quality should be of interest to not so advanced modellers, I think. At least that is the kind of things I would love to read (as a VERY novice modeller).

Sorry, Luca, I'd be ready to help with German to English, but my Italian is unfortunately even worse than my modelling abilities... Ciao ;-) Christiane

Thanks for your wonderful models, they are sure well done. I would appreciate definitely a tutorial. I have Lightwave, but many of the same things can work in both, so it would be great to see some tips on how you model them. Well done ShadowWind
