Well, I don't like her. Really don't. The thing I always look for in characters is that they're not recognisable at first sight. We all know the "ahh...a V3morph" feeling. And this is imo even worse as you cannot get around that it's that g.i.r.l. As a toon character she is too recognisable. Besides: everyone's going to use her. No crits meant though. Everyone's free, it's a free country (not for chicken it ain't), and well...money makes the world go round, world go round,...

She looks pretty good. Am thinking of getting her. The Disney influence is obviously unmistakable. She reminds me a lot of Belle from Beauty & the Beast, especially with the one hairdo she has. My only concern in looking through the promos is wondering if someone will come up with an eye closer morph for her. I understand she's supposed to be toony and all, but it would be good to have a morph that's a little less toony as well in relation to the eyes? Any morphers that have gotten her plan to do this?

She does look Disney-ish, now that you mention it. She looked familiar, but I couldn't quite place it. She looks like Belle!

Glad you all said something about the bundle! I had thought like Joffry and their previous marketing that the bundle included the actual model for the bundle (Dog, Cat, Horse, David). At $35 (after PC and vouchers), she's not too bad, but $49 is a might rich for my blood for a toon, despite the fact I really love her Disney-esque look. But I will think on this one awhile, rather than getting caught up in the craze. Money is a bit short these days.

V3 UV Girl??????????

Yeah, Dizzie... V3 UV... You can use all your V3 textures with The GIRL... I already bought her...

Garee has a huge morph pack out for her. I know there's at least a few eye morphs in there including one that makes her eyes bigger so she looks less toony (to me), but I couldn't give you the full run down on all the morphs in the pack. And putting a realistic texture on her and toning down the eyelashes a bit (a little transparency and a deep brown instead of black) can make a big difference as well. Cheers!

Simder - WOW! LD, you wouldn't have to add the extra joints/bones into the clothing, just the ghosts for them. I did that for my Girl items and it works a treat.

Thanks for the heads up Crescent. Will look for that before making my decision. I have been off Rosity and Daz for the most part, so I'm not up on the latest discussion about GIRL as to what is being worked on, available.

What makes "Girl" special?

I would say first her Charisma! :)

She have been featured and mention in many magazines (even cover) And I read at least 2 interviews on the web about her before she join Daz.

I went to Daz. I don't really see anything special about her.
I personaly thing Roxanne is still the best out there.

And it's full ok to think so ming! we are all entitled to our opinions and tastes etc. I myself still find my little Neftoon gal very pretty and fun anyway:) and I won't stop creating new stuff for her just because the Girl arrived. There's a place to all the figures under the digital sun!!(ball of lights from poser) LOL

I think she's very appealing, in a very toony way. But what puts me off buying her is what Aeneas said - she's instantly recognisable. If I did more toon images, I might get her anyway, but I tend more towards "real people" - so it's pretty pointless for me. I've got Cherry Anime 2 and Koshini 2 so that about takes care of my toon needs, LOL
