Just a quick question. I noticed in the bottom left corner of my screen while rendering (something I normally don't watch). Not sure what it's for, so I figured I'd ask the experts. :)

Lol...it is Bryce's gueestimate on how long your scene will take to render. SOMETIMES it kinda correct. I have found scenes that have lots of glass/transparencies will almost always render far longer than what Bryce tells you. AgentSmith

More specifically, the 46:42 is how long the render has already taken. The 58:15 is how much longer Bryce is predicting the render will take.

Hi, newbie here. Played with Bryce for 2-3 yrs. Never posted. See works from AgentSmith and so on and just go back and hovel in my corner. However, with the render time, I don't think it count the AA time. At least not with many of my renders. As for those who render for days, I figure that to really see what the pic can be, I can wait, and besides my comp might as well be doing something other than just sitting there. But yes, glass, is a killer.

People have told me that I'm wrong but I do believe that Bryce always lies to me when it comes to it's guesses on how long renders will take. lol 8)

animations are worse... the time changes with whats within the frame and being rendered... so for all time it says it will take to render out 140 frames, (based off the first one) just wait till your custom space ship with 30 lights and a zillion polygons rolls into the frame... woah...
