A new section has been added to the DMesh site with some information specific to using DMesh with Poser. I'm fairly new to using Poser, so not fully up to speed, but hopefully what is there will prove useful. It's fairly short right now, but will be adding additional Poser-specific models and information over the next little while. You can follow the What's New link on the DMesh Page, or get to it directly at: http://meshtools3d.bizland.com/upzr.htm Bruce Lamming Home of DMesh - Musculature Based Organic Modeling http://meshtools3d.bizland.com/

Excellent, As I mentioned, I'm not completely up to speed on Poser yet, but it's coming along. I find this whole Morphing thing quite entertaining. Now that I figured out the sizing thing, I have a couple props to post once I get them cleaned up a bit. Bruce

Is it possible to edit the Anatomy by dragging a curve on a graph, or am I resticted to typing in the figures? Also I do not see how to get an articulated limb. This may be better by email unless others want to see the conversation. Regards philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg

The Anatomy layer is pretty rudimentary at the moment. One of the areas that will get a major overhaul over the next little. Basically, what I've been testing/trying is to use a full DMesh arm, split it into several sections, (which is simply a matter of separating the single mesh in the Skin layer into several separate parts,) and using the reuslting sections as replacement parts in Poser. Haven't quite got the whole process figured out from the Poser side. :) Hopefully soon though. I'll email the basic steps though. Once I get it completely figured out, I'll post the info to the "Using DMesh with Poser" section on my web-site Bruce

Like Phill & Jeff, I too am watching this closely, I Have a few questions concernig the program ( I have not downloaded the updated version yet). 1. Are you at all considering adding an "import" option? reason being is that your program can add detail much simpler than any program I have used yet. 2. Could you add a "zoom " feature to the 3 dementional window? I will have more comments when i get the chance to play with it some more. sorry I didn't return your past Email. have been real busy. Sprout :O)

Importing other 3D file types is high on the list. Especially now that I have begun using Poser and trying to get the DMesh models to fit around Poser ones, and it would be SO much easier to import a Poser model and then draw some clothes around them. So the OBJ import is high on the list, but there are some technical details I have to reconcile. DMesh does all it's modeling in unit uv space, and getting it to deal with the Poser way of looking at things will take a bit of thinking. Once I figure out how best to approach the issue, the rest shouldn't be too hard since the file format is fairly straight forward. Two ways to zoom the 3D Preview. Click on the panning toolbar item, then shift-click-drag to zoom. Three-button mouse user's can instead use center-click and drag. Alternatively, if the rotate toolbar item is you can Ctrl-Shift-click-drag :) Not as complicated as it sounds. Use the left button to rotate x or y, plus hold the shift to rotate z. Used with the ctrl key, the above options instead pan in the x,y and z directions. For 3-button mouse user's, the center drag was added as a alternative to holding down the shift key. As a short aside note, the appendix of the manual has a list of all the Keyboard and Mouse commands for each window. :) I know people don't like reading those, but it might be worth looking at just those three pages :) Bruce
