Subject: WAAAAAAAA!!No Coupon

Y'know I really don't like the way rosity handled its 10% of discount because I get them when I have no plans of really buying and 10% off on a $35.00 purchase is no incentive at all to buy anything...but dangit, when I actually want to buy a bunch of stuff I never have a darn coupon or discount from rosity.I finally got some free cash and was planning on some major purchases for myself and some friends I was buying gifts for, thought I had a discount mailing and found I didn't.At first I got a little ticked because when it comes to discounts or rebates others tend to have a better system than this...the whole point of discounts is to encourage sales, but I don't think that 10% before the purchase is that much of an incentive.

However,a 10% discount when you actually make a purchase past the set dollar amount is an incentive to buy as long as it's an across the board discount without a start/end date that limits when you can make these purchases...its not this time that matters but the next time I want to make a major purchase that matters right?I mean, getting your paycheck after the discount expires has a definate negative effect on future interest in your products...thats why most stores have their biggest sales on weekends and in store specials during the rest of the time so shoppers know that at any moment while they're there a sudden "1 hour only" sale could happen at any time.Rosity doesn't have any of this and considering that many of your merchants now have abdicated to other sites that handle discounts a little better I must say the incentive will be to buy elsewhere if rosity doesn't develop a better system.

Why not have a permanent 10% discount on purchases of $35.00 or more including sale items...and a permanent 20% off on purchases of $50.00 excluding items already on sale?Throw out a coupon once in a while for $5.00 off a purchase...you could even limit this to people who buy $10.00 or more a month and stipulate the item can't be on sale.

I dunno guys but to be honest I'm a little disappointed, had over $100.00 on my list and thought I had the discount...obviously not so am going shopping on the other sites to see if I can find these items for less.Sorry,I prefer doing business with rosity and may still buy some of these items here but have already deleted half off my list that I didn't really need to buy and left only items I know are the same price here as elsewhere or that are only available here.It was my mistake thinking I had the discount, but it only once again raised the question of whether the discount is really worth the time or if its just a dirty joke that no one understands:(

Sorry if I sound negative, just after my mother death I just haven't had the free cash to buy much and now that I do...well it just seems like terrible timing once again y'know.

If the end goal of learning is genius...why are most geniuses failures at learning?

I've been dying to use my discount also! I was pleasantly surprized to see one in my e-mail box the other day(thank you so much!) Alas! I squeeked in just past the due date! Although I was unable to utilize mine, I am extremely happy to have been thought of in that manner. Perhaps there can be some discussion about extending the due dates to cover, say, a week/week and a half. Then, since all folks get paid on different days, no one person would miss out due to not having their bank accounts padded? I understand all to well, and I am sure others here are in the same boat you are rowing. I don't think the discount coupons are a "dirty joke" I just believe you and I (and prehaps a few others) are victims of bad timing.

Perhaps the time frame needs to be adjusted... Thanks for the input!!

Are they all three days? I thought it was just me as I'm not real religious about checking my e-mail. You are correct in saying that really isn't much time at all. If I have to apply a payment to my card to make a purchase it takes about three days for the credit to be available. I would have to be incredibly lucky to ever get to use one. Something to think about.
