Just to add salt to an open wound (or to put it another way), for those who don't support Poser 5 and won't, what are you going to do next year when Poser 6 comes out? Many people, myself included, are planning to purchase it and looking forward to it. Are you going to pretend it doesn't exist (much like 5) or are you going to finally come into the new century and support it? Not to sound rude, but saying I won't support the current version of Poser is getting to be like saying the outhouse was good enough for you grandpa, so it's damn well good enough for your grand kids. (Just the opinion of one tired, grumpy network engineer who is trying to upgrade a network by day and relax with his new G.I.R.L. at night and finding that he has way to much work to do since someone didn't due enough Poser 5 testing.)

The best way to let the brokers who don't support P5 for a product, is don't purchase it, but more importantly, let them know that you'd like to, if P5 mat files and such are provided with it. Give them incentive, and let them know you are interested in their work. Just "not buying" doesn't tell them if a product is just unpopular, or if it could be more so. Creating a set of P5 mat files in Mat Pose Edit takes just a few minutes, and at least shows an attempt at support. I do it all the time, going backwards from p5 to P4 mat files.. ;)

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

I can't use MAT Pose Edit but I do plan on getting some basic MAT things for my products for P5 sometime but I was trying to see if I can do it first but there simply isn't anything that I can use to create them right now (Mac user) .. Plus I would have to get P5 still and that is a monetary investment I am not sure if I can make right now since it would be pretty much only for creating files for P5 users. From everything I have read it still is a draw on whether I want to use it for my normal posering.

Isn't there a python based MAT creator out there too? That one should work on a mac as well as a pc.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

There's also the old fashioned way -- edit out everything but the material settings from a CR2 file, rename it to pz2, and poof.

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Editing CR2's is one of my least favorite things .. The last I heard the Python version didn't work but they were updating it or soemthing .. When the new on comes out I might get P5 to make things for people but it really depends on if I have money and right now that is chancey at best.
