Subject: frustration with backgrounds

I want to create my own "worlds" for my poser characters. I wish it could all be done in Poser but realize it's just not going to happen. What I want is something like Daz Cyclorama but better as I want to create the beach, tree placements and water and all myself. I've tried Bryce and had a lot of success but there are no good trees in Bryce. I've downloaded Terragen and will play with it this weekend. I have looked at Vue and it looks wonderful but is expensive. I just wish we could somehow get Poser and our favorite world creation softwares to work together. Kristta (thinking......Now, play nice my little children)

Vue is wonderful, and works great with Poser. They have sales, so keep an eye out. (I think they offered it for $99 once.) Vue 5 is coming out soon; maybe Vue 4's price will drop then.

Alternately, you could go to RuntimeDNA. Their "Microcosm" sets are pretty good for working inside Poser. Better than the Cyclorama, anyway. They also sell very nice trees of all kinds, and are always making more.

Of course, when you add it all up, it might be cheaper to just buy Vue. ;-)

You could also check out DAZ's new Millenium Environment. I am not too sure what has changed from the cyclorama, but it seems to look really nice!!

You can actually build a beach and water in Poser, using primitives.
