This free update for Shazam extends her versatility into other Toon-style genres. The original release featured a head to body ratio of roughly 1:5, which was fairly typical for the intended styles. Other Toon styles use a variety of different head to body ratios, and this new release is intended to address those areas.

The new head re-sizing options allow you to scale the head to whatever your personal or artistic preference, and avoids the "head-squishing" problems typical of using the standard Poser scaling dials.

This free addon also includes a secondary update that provides for master Morph Scaling dials. These new dials allow you to modify the strength of entire sets of head morph dials, without having to modify each dial individually. This means that as you increase or decrease the head size, you can also increase or decrease the strength of all active morphs using a single dial. Although intended for use with the new head resizing options, these Morph Scaling dials are also very useful when applying pre-built face files to the Shaz-based characters.

Thanks for the update! Shazam is one of those figures I keep wanting to spend more time exploring.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

A minor change has been made to the update and was posted this morning. If you dl'd it Friday, this small change will remove the message about looking for the AddonBruce.pz2 You can safely ignore the message but it is a bit annoying, so the new version will get rid of it.

I'm hoping and praying that you are still working on an M2 version of Shazam - she really needs a boyfriend! lol

dke ( ) posted Mon, 16 August 2004 at 12:32 PM

The M2 version is ready, so yes she will have a friend :) The head sizing options are also included with the M2 version, so with that new feature, he will also make also a good match for some of the other recently released, Toon-style female characters. :) I should have the final details about release dates by the end of the week, hopefully sooner. Sound good? :)

elizabyte ( ) posted Mon, 16 August 2004 at 1:20 PM

Yeah, it does sound good, and I must say, the new head option makes the character much, MUCH more appealing to me. Now that I know there will be a male version, I'm even more interested! :-) bonni
