THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Reclining Nude

drawbridgep ( ) posted Tue, 17 August 2004 at 8:15 AM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 1:14 PM

Content Advisory! This message contains nudity

Believe it or not, but I actually studied A-Level art at school. One day our art teacher asks us if we would be interested in drawing a nude model. He asked eight 16 year old boys if they were interested in drawing a nude model! We said yes by the way. I've not drawn a nude for a long time. Most girls I know are unwilling. So I've created one in Bryce. But I wanted to give you a warning and an opportunity not to look at the picture. So if you don't want to be offended, don't scroll down.

The problem is I'm an IT consultant and we don't read manuals or instructions, except as a last resort..... OK, I've read the read me. I'll read it again once I've had coffee and perhaps I'll understand it. You know us limeys have problems with big words. Well, that's a whole different kettle of robot parts now. I have to say, it's probably the single greatest freebie of any application I've ever seen. If Rochr never accepts your offer, I'll happily father your babies.

It's an amaing expression. Slightly gormless, but the model looks like she's pouting. Just perfect. Gonna be a classic.

This is great, but shouldn't the artist have a stick of charcoal or something in his hand, or is it matter transmutation or whatever, I am not much into the technicalities of robots.

Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, and you my good fellow? I'm about 20 miles from Beeston where Drac is in residence. So any more derogatory remarks from the fanged menace, and I'll be leading a party of Vampire killers from my house, blazing torches and stakes a plenty ;OP

Simple! I just asked.....! Seriously, I live in a valley that's surrounded on 3 sides by hills and mountains. If bad weather comes from the North, it goes way over the top of us. Similarly, if it comes from the East, it goes way over our heads, drops a little rain and heads on out to sea. If from the South, like at the moment, it goes North, takes a slight westerly twist and misses us all together. If it comes from the West.......we get the crap kicked out of us!

Ah its a bit like living in the shadow of Shooters hill, as I did when living in Kent/SE London borders. Not a terribly high piece of landscape, but did create a great buffer zone, unless of course the weather system bounced directly off SH and you got a storm repeating itself over and over.

Ah so you know all about the peculiarities of the area. I used to live in Erith, some of my tribe of grandchildren still live in Crayford. Moved to Surrey in 99, and now we get weather from all directions, no protection.

Well I guess the strangest "small world" thing I came across was after travelling down to Cornwall to stay with my current other half's Uncle, and finding his wife (Les's Aunt) was someone I had known as a small child. Said Uncle was born and brought up in Surrey, and as I said we were in Kent.
