Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 20 7:34 am)
Go to the material room and make a new node by right-clicking. Select Create New Node>2D Texture>Image_Map When the new node appears, select the top field (image file I think it is) and then browse for your image. Next, link it to the diffuse root node. If it's a swatch, you'll want to tile it. Adjust the U and V scales to determine the frequency at which it tiles. Once it looks ok in the preview, do a quick render to check it out. I'll post a screen shot in a few minutes, but I'm currently rendering an animation, so it could be a bit.

There is probably an easy solution to this situation but for the moment, this newbie can't figure it out. I have some files that have loaded properly into Poser 5 in the Material room. I figured out I can change various clothing items using what's in those folders. My question is, I have some material JPG's like fabric tiles for instance and that's all they are, JPG's. According to the file, they sit in the texture folder but how can I use them to change clothing? I can't access those JPG's via the Material room. So I'm hoping someone might know the answer to my question and I have a hunch it's probably easy-peesy...Thanks in advance :)
