Subject: Question about Neftoon Pal... Please help.

Hello. I hope someone who owns Neftoon Pal can help me. I bought the GIRL but she needs a toon male to go with her so I was thinking about purchasing the Neftoon Pal. Is the Neftoon Pal any good? How well does he bend, such as his joints around his knees and elbows? Is he a good model? How does he compare to any of Daz figures? I did a search for him in the galleries to see what other people have done with him and found only a few pics of him. He looks great, but looks don't mean everything. I will be doing both animations and still renders with him, so how well he works regarding animation is very important to me. Thanks in advance for the help! P.S.- The Neftoon Gal looks great, too. If I buy the Neftoon Pal and like him, then I will buy the Neftoon Gal too!

I like him and find him easy to work with, the joints bend well but he is a toon so well might be subjective. but I like him. And Neftis has a post that there are some new clothes in process. Not to mention Odeathoflife too is woking on a cool armor set. Wow you are right I just did a search of "Neftoon pal" and of the 5 hits, I did three of them?? LOL ;) Well I like him, and think that of the few male toon options, he is the best fit style wise, with the girl.

I just got him the other day. bens in legs are good, elbow/arms are a bit pinched, but he's a toon charactuer so it doen't bother me much. Daz male human figures are higher density in mesh and joints. adds to the realism. PAL is very expressive, Polymage has a new expression morph pack out that adds even more expression. There is a lack of clothing for PAL, I did a massive search and there really are no freebies out for him, and only polymage has clothing for purchase so far. For still images PAL could steal other clothing items and look decent, or if you have clothing converter you could try converting clothing. I do not do animations, no clue how he does in the walk designer and I have not tryed him in Mimic2 yet so no idea if that works. Ichiro has more clothing items for a male toon figure, so far probably the most supported figure, some of his clothing may be able to be used or converted as well, haven't tryed yet. So far my take on PAL is he's a great expressive model, poses well and just looks fun and cool. Lack of clothing for him is disapointing but there are work arounds, and more support is coming, how much and when yet to be determined. with the polymage sale going on you can get PAL and his clothing pack cheaper than some single purchase items for a Daz figure, or even another figure model naked.

I like Pal, I would like to see more clothes for him, and morphs.

I am also developing for the pal, and have a catsuit almost ready to go (conforming and dynamic poser 5 verison) as well as a teeshirt ( again conforming and dynamic versions ) as well as some other ideas for clothings, and such.
