As you've guessed this is a serious noob question, I've been wanting to install the packs i've seen in the free stuff part of the rederosity site. but don't have a clue as to where to begin doing it. Could someone who knows fill me in on the nitty gritty part. Thanks in advance

This tutorial doesn't cover Poser 5 (really must update it some day), but it should get you started.

Apart from the Poser5 specific stuff like mt5 files & multiple runtimes Bob's tutorial is perfect for every newbie looking to install some freebies :)
