Subject: Questions about exporting figures for use in Bryce

Zebra ( ) posted Mon, 06 November 2000 at 6:22 PM · edited Fri, 02 August 2024 at 12:26 AM

I have several questions about exporting the poser figures into Bryce. One What file type is the best? (obj, 3ds etc) Two When exporting figures I export the person and then the clothes. This allows me to add the texture maps (and transmaps) to the clothes and figure but when I import the clothes they are larger than 'original' size and I have to spend much time getting the size and placement just right. Any suggestions on how to make this easier? Sometimes I think the hair screws up a figure and I can't import it into Bryce. What's up with that? Thank you in advance for your help. Zebra

If you import the whole figure int Bryce ( use OBJ format), you can select the individual parts by clicking on the object while holding domn the control key. I think it's the command key on the Mac. This will bring up a list of the individual items under your cursor. You can select from these. Sometimes you may have to click on slightly different spots to get to the item that you want. Once selected, you can't texture the item as you wish.-FK.
