Just wanted to post some images of a new figure I've been working on for the last couple of weeks. Havent decided where he'll end up. Still have to work on facial morphs and such. Comments welcome.

Very cool, I like the humanoid musculature. This has sort of a NURBS-y look. Are you using Rhino?

Very Very Cool! With the right texture and bump maps it could have a lot of very different looks. I would certainly want it in my runtime if it was avalible.

Oh yes. I MUST have this one. This is too cool. Excellent job!

very nice. i'm impressed. 8-) If you're still working on the face, I would either leave it just the way it is to give it that almost human feel, or maybe smooth it down so that it has a somewhat mercury-type substance to it.

really nice, Would really like to have this one

This is just one of the best I've ever seen-- and I got a lot of em. I love the proportions and the way you've stylized the musculature. More, please!!!! Emily

This reminds me of Spielburg's AI movie and what I saw in my minds eye the first time I read Asimov's "I, Robot;" not the stuff they tossed in the movie that had nothing to do with the story. What an exceptional piece of work. The pathos in the face is deeply touching. I hope that when you have finished this 'bot it finds its way to the freebies section eventually. I know that out there somewhere, someone is already scheming the textures for it. I'm thinking leather duster coat and Stetson hat....

What an unusual configuration. It's a great idea. I know it's finding the way to my Runtime folder. I hope its for P4 though.

I keep coming back to it, it is a very eye catching figure. Please keep us up to date on it's progress.

The face doesn't quite fit with the rest. The quasi-organic body has a different feel. Maybe losing a little detail, like some of the shaping around the nose, and getting the overall proportions ever so slightly wrong, would work better. But it does rather depend what you're intending it for. Still, it looks better in #2, perhaps because the combination of distance and lighting loses some of the detail.

Awesome!!

Not using Rhino. Did it in a combo of Carrara 3 and Poser 5. Dave
