I just followed da link and I'm a tad confuzzled. This is supposed to be a vote for Artist of the Month right? Yet the instructions at the top of the page include the instruction to 'Please consider the entire body of work by each nominee.' Some of these dudes have been posting for the past 100 years or thereabouts. Shouldn't an Artist of the Month be selected based on his/her contributions for the past month? i.e August? Obviously not seeing as one of them has posted NO new images since half-past July! So what makes it an Artist of the Month? They qualify 'cos they kept breathing throughout August? Just wondering. :o)

since the vast majority of previous AOMs came from the poser gallery (which kindof accurately depicts the userbase anyway, but lets not get into that) RO split up the AOM into different program categories for each month or so. some of them are more obscure than others... im sure that in a voting month where the app in consideration is bryce, there are many fresh nominees that have excellent recent work. but this month? theyre pretty obscure programs. also, the next time these apps may have a turn at AOM could be in a year, so i dont see anything unnatural about nominating artists with work that is a couple of months old. cheers, -gabriel

I really love renderosity, nice forums, decent help. good products. The only thing that I don't like is all this voting stuff. Artist of the month, merchant of the month, challenge of the month (at least that one is fun to participate in at times, since one can choose to enter, and is not depending on others to be choosen to be in the competition), and wat else is there. I never pay notice to these things anyway. Sometimes I do participate in the voting for challenge of the month, but that's all. The rest I just consider a waste of my time, but that's just my opinion. There are so many things one can participate in nowadays, that you've got to be carefull that your day doesn't go by without doing anything serious. Anyway enough said, this post was really a waste of time too.

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....
