hi i'm looking for a little program that creats text that can be saved as a boject in such file formats such as dfx ect... as i remember it was a free program does anybody know of it??

elefont will do it, but I think it only saves as .dxf(don't take my word on it..;), Wings can save as .obj, .3ds, .ndo..etc. here's your link.

And you can make text with a pic of text from a paint program and apply to a terrain or lattice in Bryce which can then be exported in several file formats (I think, I haven't tried the export part. I normally bring objects into Bryce, not out).

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

OR you can use terrains and any paint app. with Bryce
