Hi, just wanted to let you know that I've created a new webpage for my pose free stuff and images. Unfortunately I can't host more than a couple of downloads at a time but I'll be glad to send via email any of the files:) So if you want to check it out and tell me if it works for you and if it needs anything to become easier to navigate, I'd be grateful. Oh Almost forgot, I had a problem with the big buttons, the hearts and stars, in the First and Freestuff Index pages. They're supposed to change color when you hover the mouse over them but, for some strange reason they work only half the time without me changing anything:{ Could you tell me if it works for you? You have to wait for a minute till it loads.

Thanks
niki

The "mouseover" color change works for me. It is very slow, however, perhaps because of the size of your graphics.

The color changes but i get unexpected redirs and errors (page not found and so and so)... Actually I don't like fortunecity based sites, since many of theirs activex popups and so make my system go nuts...

I like Fortunecity, because if you have a popup blocker, all the ads go away. Unlike Tripod and Geocities, where their evil ads slither around most popup blockers...

I have to click in the window first, before the colour of the hearts and stars will change. The first time I moved the mouse over a heart it took some time before the colour changed, but after that it changed immediately. I'm using Safari on a Mac.

wow you have some great free stuff but i can't seem to download any of it :O(

Thank you guys!!!
I didn't know that there were popups I thought that the banners were all I had to endure. When I checked it out nothing came up. There's nothing I can do about it though, is there? I'd be glad to follow any suggestion.
The errors I suppose were in the Links page? I mispelled it, didn't know that it doesn't recognize htm and html as the same.
What redirects exactly do you mean? The index in the idividual free stuff pages should take you to the first page not the freestuff index if that's what you mean.
Oh and GothKurlz, I don't have too much space over there, that's why I can put only one page of downloads on line at a time. Right now I only have the textures for the MK set. But I can send via email any file that you like. Just drop me a line at seeker@otenet.gr and I'll be glad to send them.
Thank you again, I really appreciate it:)
Niki

I have seen that you have 20 textures and 20 transparency maps for ISO's Mermaid Line Simple dress, but... I cant find it at ISO's site. Where is it??

I believe it's been moved to the Jatex site. It's got a lot of great stuff there. Niki

Unfortunately, I couldn't download the MK set textures either - I tried left clicking and right clicking in both IE6 and Opera without any success. Mostly, I just ended up back at the download page. I fear you may soon have a lot of e-mail requests to deal with. :(

seeker ( ) posted Fri, 27 August 2004 at 12:28 PM

Hmmm. Just tried it and the downloads work fine with me. I even used download accelerator and it also worked. I use IE6 so that can't be it. Want to give it another try and tell me if it worked for you? Thanks Niki

randym77 ( ) posted Fri, 27 August 2004 at 4:19 PM

Very odd. I could not download the file by clicking on it. However, I extracted the URL from the source code:

http://www.freewebs.com/seeker161/MK%20Set%20SeekerTexture1.zip

By cutting and pasting that URL into IE, I could download the file.

I suspect this may be something imposed by FortuneCity. It's not java, because even with Netscape 3, clicking doesn't work.

Easy work-around: right-click on the link, copy shortcut (or copy link location, in Netscape), then paste the link into your browser by hand. It should work then.

randym77, with your note, I have downloaded without troubles. Thanks ;)

I don't get it, it works fine here... Anyway, you can also get the DCI textures, they're in the renderosity freestuff. Just search for "seeker" or "dresscoat". And I don't mind sending stuff over mail, it's my pleasure:) Niki

I can host/mirror your files for free on my site if you like. I just started freebie hosting for people. All I ask is that you register at the forum so I can link files to peoples usernames. You can use FTP if you wish but I just added a browser uploader =). Its upto you.
