Subject: Large Thumbnail...14k...How?

I've begun posting images in the galleries, but can't figure out how people are getting large thumbnails when the size limit is less than 15k. I can't seem to get larger than about 50x50. What's the trick?

If you are using Photoshop, either lower the quality of the jpeg when saving to 9 or 10 which still gives you an excellent thumb or use the Save for Web and adjust the quality until it says less than 15K in the bottom left corner. Not sure what it is in other paint programs... ShadowWind

In paint shop pro you can save your thumbnail as a compressed jpg.

In Photoshop just go to file-> save for web and lower the quality...saving for web takes a lot o size off of a thumbnail...also it helps if you crop to a section of the image rather than just resize the whole one...hope that helps...Jenn
