Subject: Ground Level Adjustment: What's the Secret?

moushie ( ) posted Mon, 30 August 2004 at 12:16 AM ยท edited Tue, 04 February 2025 at 10:24 AM

Ive asked this before, without luck. Maybe this time Ill be lucky. I save a walk pose in the library. When I load it onto a figure, the figures feet float above ground. I methodically click Ctr/D for ground level at each frame. But on playback the figure walks steadily into the ground, its knees buckling, like a clown act. Whats the solution?

I think you'll find that the information in this tutorial will answer your question.

Phil: Many thanks. But it doesn't seem to work for me. When I highlight the block of frames they can only be moved sideways (as indicated by the cursor symbol). If I select one frame only and try dragging vertically, only that framne moves and the highlighting goes off. Right-clicking doesn't highlight and neither left nor right clicking drags vertically.

Phil: Right. I was reading too fast. This is a great solution. Many thanks indeed.
