I haven't done one yet... you think skeletons could live in a sci fi city?

How did you add text in your Bryce scene. Please don't say you added it in post. Bandolin

What scares me the most, is how much that right scraper reminds me of "1984". :) I love it, but i have a suggestion if youre interested. Have you tried having the sunlight coming from the far right? I really think that some shadows/darker parts would add to the scene. Great job either way! :)

I've done a lot of cities..with varying success..as usual..I'm trying to get up to the Moebius/Kevin Cappis (sp?) level..but I'm still lost in the basement with Naysay guy [inside joke])..;)
sure, you can't do 'post-apocolyptic' cities without skeletons..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Thank you for your comments and recommendations!:-)
@Bandolin- I only added my signature in post, the "NANO-KOTE" sign is 3D text I made within Wings and the other signs are 2D pict objects I made using Photoshop and rendered within the picture.
@Rochr-Lol, I'm interested in any suggestions you make. When you talk, I listen! Thank you for the kind comments. I think I will try another city render using your suggestions. I didn't see "1984", but I'll have to check it out.
Sorry, i meant "Metropolis". For some reason i always mix up these two. :)

Can't have enough good sci-fi cityscapes out there. :o) You've definitely got your own distinct architectural style... and I like the fact that your lighting is completely different. The addition of the cab in the foreground reminds me of "The Fifth Element"... cool touch. My unsolicited bit of advice would be to try and create a tiny canyon effect between the buildings and hint at more visual depth to your city. A bit of pollution or fogginess in the distance will really help create this illusion of expanse. Would love to see more of your city. :o) Cheers! M

Thank you very much for responding to this thread, and your kind words Moebius87! I really admire the distinctive and logical architecture of your excellent "Dystopia" city blocks, and your modeling skills in particular. I appreciate your advice a lot! I think I will do another city render incorporating the great recommendations and feedback from this post. Thanks again!

Seems like everybody in the Forum has done a Sci-fi city 'cept me. I decided to get this one out of my system and I hope you'll check it out and comment, pro, or con. Thanks! Dan V.
