THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT: Promotion

Nukeboy ( ) posted Tue, 31 August 2004 at 11:13 PM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 4:14 PM

I've been in my field for 20 years on 9/10, doing my "job" for sixteen; been looking for promotion the last six. Finally got it! Not much has changed...bad guys go away... good guys stay. God bless the Peace Keepers...

Congrats! :)

Congratulations! Do you get a whopping pay raise?

Great News!

Good to hear man. Congratulations!!!!

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.

Congrats!.....maybe now, you can afford to move out of the field into a regular house/app ! lol (unless you're a gypsy, in which case, I guess you'd rather stay in the field)

Congrats, so do you get better toys to play with now, or will you be hanging up the weaponry and flying a desk more?

BTW are you in the Air Force? I've been in the IT.A.F. for 16 years...

Nukeboy ( ) posted Wed, 01 September 2004 at 12:19 PM

A few more toys to choose from, and flying the desk about half the time. I won't mind, 'cuz all that gear gets pretty heavy after awhile. 10% pay raise, plus better retirement, so, beers for everyone!

Excellent! Good news all around for you Nukeboy, congratulations! Bryster, realistically, either or, they're not going to go away, so someone has to do the job. ;)

Yes, but I'd rather not have someone who likes doing pics of humungus nuclear explosions in Bryce in charge of ICBMs......not that I have a choice in the matter considering that I'm not an american..... ;-)

Nukeplant, Bryster... much tougher than those wimps with ICBM's!

This promotion was so far from left field that I had this cake made to celebrate...

LOL...Mmmmm, hot right out of the reactor. Glowing dancing porkies in pig heaven would have done nicely also.
