Thanks, man, I'm gonna have to find some time to render some of your stuff, very impressive modeling !!! :)

Read the title as "free medieval monks"... Still, the models look just as good. Thanks.

Excellent stuff, but the castle really needs a flag......;-)

Hmmm... tried the medieval castle model. I downloaded it in 3ds format. When imported into Bryce, all the meshes are centered at ground zero. This is it from the top view. I think we may need a floor plan or something to make it useful.

Could be worse, could be raining.

mmmmmmh... this is strange, i've seen many image made with bryce using my models (like castle...) have you tried with Obj version ? anyway, the 3ds version is a "translation" made by DeepExploration... in the link i've upload at my site a 3ds version made with 3d studio max 6, try with this and let me know... ciao.

Bea ( ) posted Tue, 07 September 2004 at 5:14 AM

It kept looking for jpgs etc that weren't there :(

Ang25 ( ) posted Tue, 07 September 2004 at 5:28 AM

Well I messed up and only one of the castles I was downloading actually made it onto my hard drive, then I lost some but not all of the textures for it. I really need dsl, dialup sucks big time. but when I loaded the castle into bryce it was correct and I'd used the 3ds model.

Bea ( ) posted Tue, 07 September 2004 at 4:30 PM

I have used the rural castle and love it and had no problem , but it was just using the link to the 3d studio max one. :( Plus, it came in so small and I couldn't enlarge it properly - I think the camera angle had been affected

rodluc2001 ( ) posted Wed, 08 September 2004 at 8:56 AM

well dear Bea, i don't use and i don't know Bryce, so i can't help you... hope some Bryce users can help you with a workaround. bye

Bea ( ) posted Wed, 08 September 2004 at 9:56 PM

Thank you rodluc, I think your models are awesome and just wish we could use all of them properly in Bryce. I had the same problem with the village it kept looking for jpgs for the textures :(
