Be welcome! I am a (professional) Photoshop junkie (I hang around in the Carrara/Raydream realm too), meeting someone so close to the source is very interesting. Do you still teach or are you retired (I am just doing sloppy math with you having a grandson and your words, no offence), do you still keep up with the new Creative Suite stuff? Hope you will crawl out of your Rhino cave now and then and stand in the light of the virtual darkroom!
:) After reading my post, I can understand the question. But no, I'm only 41. (with 4 grandkids.)
I have the latest CS version (needed it for class) but got laid off 2 months ago. I'm already missing teaching. I taught Photoshop as well as Graphics and Web design, (HTML thrown in there too) What a fun class! My favorite assignment was when I braught a "National Enquirer" type magazine to class, and told them they had 2 days to create a photo suitable for this magazine. LOL Had some good ones. Alien babies, Skeletons, mermaids, but I think my favorite was a gal that created a very believable image of Brittainy Spears, pregnant, holding hands with William Hung (Of Amerian Idol fame) It was wonderfully done.
I do a lot of fantasy art. I have a photo booth setup that I take to fairs and events, I let people look through a photo album full of people and places, and place them into the photo. Lots of dragons and castles, as well as world travel photos. It's a lot of fun. The grandson image is a sample of what I'm talking about.
I'm getting back into Photography, so you'll probably see me around these halls as well for a while. :) Rich
