Subject: How are Poser products used?

Does anyone have any ideas how most products made for Poser (i.e,items in the Marketplace) are used by the buyers?

nope- no idea- lol Probably most are used in still pictures- thats as close to a generalization as can be made. If you can imagine a limit to your imagination someone else can go beyond it, lol.

I am not sure what kind of answer you are looking for but with a little imagination they can be used for many many things such as: Bookcovers for publishers, posters, t-shirt designs, animations, website graphics, cards for role playing games, personal galleries and most anything that can take a 2d render..as long as one follows the license agreement, but most products are sold so there are no limits on the 2d render of the product used. Hope this helps some, TheMadPainter

Well, many are downloaded, archived, and lost. Some are corrupted, some are loaded into settings never used again, some are improved, some have textures, morphs, and add-ons created for them. Some are misused, abused, and treating with ill-concern. Some wind up in wonderful pictures, interesting treatments, parented or parentless..I dunno..what do you mean..'xactly?..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Most are used to make images of vacant, expressionless poses of a character named Vicky 3, standing naked in a temple with a sword in her hand. Also expressionless images of Fairies, often naked. Fae, if that is something diffent than fairies (never heard of this stupid word until I started to use Poser). D&D inspired, lame Poses with magical (Fairy like?) balls of light flying out of characters' orifices. Dragons up the Kazoo. Kazoo is sold in a seperate expansion pack for Poser figures. Otherwise they come Kazooless. Let me say just once, GIRL, Sara, LaRoo, and on and on adnaseum; often standing naked and expressionless in a temple with a sword. Can you say Kute. You know whom I'm talking about and you can also say Krap! (Just kidding. Please don't hurt me). Basically, if you can "imagine" it and then you have the skill and ability to really screw up what ought not be created in the first place, then you can use Poser to achieve just this kind of result. So buy the program and get started immediately.

and here I thought that those people did that accidentally due to lack of mentality. Well then, I guess it's all good. LoL Actually, it's funny that you said all of that, because I was going to say something down the lines of celibacy. Your humor has saved me the trip. Realistically, I suppose it's like drawing. You can save the thing, or you can do just about anything that you want with it.

I use many of them to balance my hard disk: downloading bucketfuls of stuff to it, makes it spin better, like having more people on a merry-go-round... O_o Ok, just a dumb answer. But i must add, the question was not so clear... ;)
