This is a fantastic image. I love the colors, as well as the mats used. Fun stuff!

Wild colors! Does it have any signifigance? a sports team maybe? It all depends on which way you want to go. My first thought was, "where's Alice and the white rabbit?" I'm getting some kind of reflection next to the handle but I can't make it out. My suggestion would be to put something behind the camera ( a character reaching, a steamship) to reflect off the lid of the teapot. Maybe something along the top of the picture that's not all there (no not me!) like the bottom of a flower vase salt and pepper shaker etc. Things that would normally be the centerpiece of a table.

Its a very cafe style set-up. Maybe add the bill under the Ferrero Rocher confection. Something strikes me as being a little off. The table cloth, coffee mug and saucer and the sugar are very much drop in cafe-like. However, the coffee pot looks more like something you'd be served at the Ritz.

Check out this link to the Rick Wakeman album "No Earthly Connection." If you put a tube mirror on the cover the distorted image looks normal in the mirror. You could see the same sort of distorted reflection of the person at the table in the teapot.

Nice. The sugar packets seem too big though.

alvinylaya ( ) posted Thu, 09 September 2004 at 6:09 PM

Love the colors! I think the ferrero and the sugar packets look a little too big... or maybe it's the cup that looks small :-) That cloth looks phenominal. I don't know what else to add to this, maybe a little DOF.

where is the creamer?

Looks cool. This might be a style thing but it seems to miss a focal point unless the candy is it. Whats your focal point in this picture?
