Mover 5: The ability to import fully textured and ANIMATED 3ds max characters.

Does this work for anybody?

Where did you hear that one? At least from the version of E-on's site that my browser can access, the Mover 5 add-on says Poser, Poser, Poser, and Poser. No mention of Max whatsoever.

I've seen that claim in the appendix of the manual. Mover works fine with Poser, I haven't tried Max yet.

cant help you since i dont own mover5, but have you tried contacting e.on directly ? thats the only way to get a correct answer, and when you get it please post about it here, if its true and it should work thats one more reason to get mover5, but ive never heard about it before, but if its in the manual it should of course work.

you can import fully textured 3ds, then animate, only poser files can you import the animated file. nothing about 3ds in the mover manual that I've seen.

Hexagon, Carrara, Sculptris, and recently Sketchup.

It is printed in Vue 4 Professional book, but not in the Mover 5 documentation. Mover 5 as been released long time after Vue 4 Pro. If it isn't in the documentation, it has a lot of chance not to work... I think it is something like prototyping. You see the prototype of something in a show, and it has some functions that won't be when it release. It is normal, nothing really shoking...

its another let down. That would have been a cool feature. Is prototyping a way of lying? Mover 5 is a big let down. The fact that it is hard to scroll the timeline with one poser character is a bad problem when poser 5 works so well with one character on the same machine. For me e-on has many strikes against it. I am an unhappy customer. They should start all over with vue 5 and lose all that is bryce. Buyers Beware of all that is Sold.

My reason for buying Mover 5 was its ability to import dynamic clothing and hair at another frame than frame 1. Price is a bit stiff for such limited functionality, but at least it works...
