Subject: Creating a Poseable Figure from an Object for Poser

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 12 September 2004 at 7:18 AM · edited Tue, 29 October 2024 at 10:02 PM

We have had a lot of calls for our old tutorial used to create poseable figures for Poser, I know it has helped alot of people in the past, my question is recently we have had a few requests did anyone else need to have it? If so post it here yes or no and we will see if we need to put it back up for downloading again. Sharen

Yes! Yes, please. And did I say yes? Bring it on, I've a neat-looking .3ds droid I wanna use but the danged thing just stands there like a bloody statue. Would be nice if I can get it to hold a weapon & menace my heros the way it oughta be doing.

Yes please! I looked at it some time ago and didn't really understand it. I think it would be helpful to me now. Many Thanks!

HI all, okay here is the link for both tutorials and most of everything you need. Does not include UV mapper application or Adobe reader...you got to go get them if you don't have them. Have fun and don't forget to ask questions if you need....it is pretty long, so take your time and read it. Sharen

Thank you Sharen. Might try to get my fish poseable.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Remember these are basic tutorials, just to get you to understand how poser works with poseable objects. But it should get you all on your way. Sharen

Pol ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 6:02 AM

Okay thanks zantor. Cheers

Pol ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 6:04 AM

I'm really sorry xantor for the spelling.. very late, very tired. Sorry

Bryde ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 6:56 AM

Hm...I might be dense...but...the page has a link named "Tutorials" and leads to a WebPageTutorial zip archive. Is the Poser one included there too? I don't see any other tutorial link on that page. Thanks for all the great stuff you do!

nickedshield ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 9:08 AM

Bryde, it's the correct one. Just a packaging name.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

xantor ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 9:53 AM

Pol that`s okay, it is pronounced zantor anyway :)

SAMS3D ( ) posted Mon, 13 September 2004 at 4:41 PM

Yes, it is just packaged up like this, it has both tutorials in one zipped file. No this is not for DAZ Studio, just applies to Poser. Have fun...Sharen
