Attached Link: virtualPhotographer plug-in

Well...I guess this originally belongs into the 2d forum, but since so many of you are working on your Poser renders in post-production, I think this is an interesting information here too. I recently downloaded the free virtualPhotographer plug-in and I think it is an awesome piece of software. It should work with any 2d graphic program which can read Photoshop style plug-ins in 8bf-format. It runs fine with PicturePublisher and IrfanView, so I guess it also runs in PSP too. You can make wonderful effects and if you download the 11 aditional free filter sets, you are off for a good start. Great tool for manipulation of background images and of course for the final render too. You can even create creepy looking stuff. I am not affiliated with the creator of that plug-in but I really liked them while playing with them.

"Compatible with Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shopâ„¢ Pro, Photo-Paint and other popular imaging applications."

Thanks for the link!

Edit-
You can get the basic plug-in in zip format, but the additional settings files are in self-extracting .exe format only. Have they not heard of Macs? Message edited on: 09/16/2004 06:53

"Have they not heard of Macs?" Next to the plug-in DL link, it says "(PC Only)" so maybe not. Do the same plug-ins usually work on both platforms? It does seem a bit of an odd choice to use the self-extractors, even for the PC. All they're doing is unzipping the files and folks are more leery of DLing an .exe than a .zip - who knows?

I've used it several times in my post work and it is a great filter. Many different looks. BJ

those extra files that are in .exe form are not installer .exes so stuffit expander can open them :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.
