Hello everybody. Im a newbie working with poser and I wanted to ask you something. When I render an up-close, sometimes the gradiens look awful, like if they were pixelated (look at the image). The texture used is the default one that comes with Vickie, but it happens with other textures too. The other problem is in the shadows. When an object drops a shadow, the borders of the shadow look "jagged". Can you tell me why this happens? And what can I do to correct it? And the last question. What can I do to make the shadows in poser transparent. I always get the same results, dark, black, opaque shadows. Thanks everybody. Sorry about my english ;-)

A little bit under render on the menu is the antialias document it's used to smooth out edges. I hope this helped but I'm new on poser too. But it's helped to get rid of the jagged edges on my images.

There's two ways to fix the "gradiens" problem. 1.)increse the shadow map size or 2.)turn off the shadow casting option for all of the lights except one. I usually do the second one. Because I rarely need to have a lot of shadow cating going on myself. And increasing the map size really slows down the computer. ScottA
