What do ya all think, any suggestions on modeling or anything else (besides putting something on the top of the random chosen buildings and texture variations) ???

Needs lighting of some sort... Unless you're going for that dead and petrified look. (Ghost city?) Or is the lighting in the plans already?

looks great. you might add some color in the form of neons and in the darker parts add some lit windows

Great - it looks like a 1950's newspaper pic. I kinda like how dark it is, but I suppose if it's meant to be a 'live' city, then a lot of soft lights at ground level would make it look more realistic.
