Update to Version 4.54 - Build 272334

The following is a list of bug fixes and improvements included in this update:

  • Improved undo-redo strategy when moving camera.
  • Improved memory management for large shadow maps.
  • Improved handling of embedded alpha information.
  • Improved compatibility with Vue d'Esprit 4 scenes.
  • Improved 3DS format compatibility.
  • Improved RenderCow performance with incorporated texture maps.
  • Fixed resize and center imported objects option.
  • Modified plant species create different plants depending on whether global breeze is enabled or not.
  • Fixed the python SetMaterial function.
  • Fixed a crash when rendering an animation with the G Buffer enabled.
  • Fixed export of rocks (and of every non UV-ed mesh).
  • Other minor interface fixes and improvements.

According to e-on's website, this is still in beta. Where did you see the announcement ?

That's weird.... if you get to this link from the home page of the e-on website, it doesn't say this is a beta version. Could there be a problem with the site ?

Heh...it's funny how their patches are at a perpetual beta stage. Anyway, it was on the front page in that animated text thingie they got going. And it says beta now, didn't earlier. Oh well, now I can finally get some G-buffer rendering going, the one Pro feature I ever truly needed since buying it. Bleh.
