Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 6:52 am)
Is discussed of course already long ago. Two things. You have to switch off the automatic resize/center option in the Vue Pro preferences. Then best is to create a sort of cube that defines the maximum dimensions of your scenery that you plan. And this you always use - in Poser or other programs to setup the components. Someone here has even done a sort of ruler to have an extra help for that long ago. Then you export the components from Poser with this cube. Import that to Vue and then delete the cube - all objects have the right size because Vue looks for the maxima. You can use this cube as well to setup the dimensions of your plants and buildings etc correctly - and as help for positioning too - if you have the "ruler" functionallity there.
One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.
If your problem is simply to import a character from Poser into Vue, there is nothing particular to do.... just save your character as a .pz3 file in Poser and import it into Vue with 'Import Object'.
There is no silly question :) Everybody has asked something at least once, that ws obvious or silly to someone else.

First, I have posted this same message in both the Poser and Vue forums because I was not sure which one would help me the most. I need to import a Poser model into Vue for a size referance because I am creating a game/chat that will be useing Vue for the landscape and locations. I need to make sure that the models are the right size in compare to the items in Vue; such as trees, buildings, grass height, and more. Could someone please instruct me on how to import the model from Poser 5 into Vue d'Esprit 4.5 Pro? Thanks, Kevin
