I'm on a dial-up connection. I need a "Vote for all selected" button on the gallery pages. Have you guys seen the stuff put out lately?

Ok then. How bout if I promise not to abuse it. The problem is I usually have to judge a pic by its thumbnail. Then open it if I like the thumb. By that time I usually like it enough to vote. Darn dial-up.

that truly sucks, i know :/ but think about it, to do that, they'd have to put those little checkmarks next to each picture and add more functionality than just voting for the respective hot20s. they'd have to program it so that you keep a temporary folder of favorites or something, at least a different layout (a la cgtalk). drac

xenic101, i know the problems you face on a dialup. I work around it by opening the image in a new window and carrying on looking at the others or browsing the forum.

Rarely do I NOT open up a new page in a new window, and I'm on 3mbps cale modem, especially when I'm at Renderosity. It's just faster all around, don't have to worry about ANY time spent "going back". AS

Tabbed browsing's great. I just open tabs of galleries 1-10, then go through each gallery and open tabs of every pic I like. Then go off a do something else for about 15 minutes. And when I return, I just skim through the tabs likety-split. Then again I do this from the office which has a T1 line. I've got dial up at home too. I only use it for email. :-

Yes AS firefox has tabs so do a few other browsers, i found cnet.com a great site for looking for browsers or other things. The also let you know which programs have bundle ware(spyware) in them on the program description page.

Last time I post while asleep. (the post I made at Daz shortly after this one {different subject, total lack of tact} got deleted.{ironically I got both the email telling me it was deleted and the renewal payment notice for the Platinum Club today.}) I didn't really mean that Rosity should change anything. I would just open a new window, but I'm usually already downloading something or other.
At any rate, it won't be a problem for long. As soon as we move, I'll be getting DSL.

xcenic, i read the forum, open images up and at times i'm downloading at the same time. If i can ask what isp are you with, could be them not the fact you have a dialup. The one i'm with isn't bad at all, i have been connect to the net for 28 hours now and still things are runng ok for me. Infact i'm downloading a 13 meg file while posting this and looking at an image on another site while waiting for a page to open on a site my girlfriend and i play a game on.
