Subject: (need help!) Importing [Poser 5] model into [Vue d'Esprit 4.5 Pro]

liquidinsect ( ) posted Tue, 21 September 2004 at 2:27 AM · edited Mon, 10 February 2025 at 7:20 AM

First, I have posted this same message in both the Poser and Vue forums because I was not sure which one would help me the most.

I need to import a Poser model into Vue for a size referance because I am creating a game/chat that will be useing Vue for the landscape and locations. I need to make sure that the models are the right size in compare to the items in Vue; such as trees, buildings, grass height, and more. Could someone please instruct me on how to import the model from Poser 5 into Vue d'Esprit 4.5 Pro?

Thanks,
Kevin

Er.. Vue imports Poser PZ3's. So just import that.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

In the preferences in vue first uncheck resize and centre before importing your pz3. Then go to I think it's the file menu in vue and choose import object then locate your pz3. Love esther

It's in the 'Edit' menu under 'Import Object', just find your pz3 file and double click :D

Thanks.... Although some of you think it was a "silly" question. I thank you for your replies. We did try this before and for some reason it was not working (after around 5 or more tries) But it is working now. Before the program would just give an error.
