Subject: Making new mat textures??

Question: How do I make either a new mat texture or modify an exisiting one (the actual painting process is understood)and load it onto a character? What file would I put it in to access it? For instance I load Michael as a character and I want to apply a new texture that I designed...how would I get it on him?? Thanks

Do you want to make a mat pose file, or do you just want to apply the texture to michael? Which version of poser are you using?

I want to apply a texture I designed to Michael Im using Poser 5. And what is the difference between a mat post file and applying a texture? Thanks

A mat pose file can apply the textures for you. There is a very good tutorial at the poserpros forum at the link for applying textures in poser 5. You need to be a member at the site to see it but membership is free.
