Subject: Star Trek TOS Uniforms for M2/V2 or M3/V3

ghoyle1 ( ) posted Sun, 26 September 2004 at 2:07 AM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 3:21 PM

I'm looking for the above Star Trek uniforms. I've found some TOS uniforms for the Dork and Posette, and some TNG uniforms for M2 and V3 (by Trekkiegrrl), but no TNG uniforms for any Millenium characters. Help! Thanks in advance, Guy Hoyle

You could use the p4 versions of michael 2 and victoria 2 to use the poser 4 versions of the TNG clothes at 3d gladiators.

ghoyle1 ( ) posted Sun, 26 September 2004 at 2:32 AM

Well, I appreciate the suggestion, but I'd like to avoid using any P4 figures at all if I can. I just don't like the way they look. I'd rather try making the textures myself instead of using those, and I'm not a very good texture maker.

I textured the MFD for V3 to look like TOS dress - it's not perfect but you're welcome to have it!

Wow! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! Did I say thank you? Planning a Trek piece for my brother's Christmas gift (either that or the Lone Ranger). This will certainly come in handy.

Now if I can just find a TOS outfit for M2 or M3...

Morphing Fantasy Dress. Available from Daz for V3 and Stephanie. Costs around $30-40 but it's only $1.99 if you're a Platinum Club member. Tons of textures available for it, some are in the freebies here and at other Poser sites. A definite must-have if you own either of these models.

What pants and boots are you using, Porthos? I'm not getting the same effect from the "Pants M3" that comes with the Tunic.

Porthos ( ) posted Tue, 28 September 2004 at 2:57 AM · edited Tue, 28 September 2004 at 2:58 AM

I used DAZ Buccaneer boots with the cuff invisible, and the pants are Xena Scifi clothing from DAZ also! ;) Used a trans map on the pants to make them shorter! ;)

Cool, will have to get the M3 tos uniform :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

OK, I'm having some troubles coming up with a transmap to lop off the trousers mid-calf, and I think I'm doing it right. I got the texture for the sci-fi pants, added a white layer, and added a black strip across the bottom, as in the graphic posted here.

Like the dress but I do have a nit to pick about the collar, as you see only the medical section had the angled neckline :-)

Porthos, I just saw your M3 Spock in the Freebies, and have,, of course, snagged it too!' If your enthusiasm has not waned yet, would you be interested in some more requests? How about one of those female outfits with pants? Or some Andorian antennae? Keep on going! And if you have any items you care to put up on your public wish list, I just might buy you one as a thanks for all your help! Guy
