Sorry about the big picture, but its difficult to see if not. This is not a tutorial BTW. Well, this is the arm of my thingy I posted here in the forum. As you can see its put together of primitives and symetrical lattices. There are also some bolean operations going on. One of the thing you got to know is how real life hydraulics work. if you dont know this, you wont get that realism as you can otherwise. You start in one end and work your way to the other end. I used the top and right and front view alot. It makes it very easy to place the primitives where it should be.My blog
