Subject: A look at the new Realistic Sky

Fog is much smoother, clouds have soften, you can preview your actual scene in the sky editor so you can see what it will look like. And of course as you can see using GMT you can position the sun by long and lat, its wonderful!

Clouds now have a control called Micro detail which controls the "softness" and I guess you'd call fluff of the cloud. This image shows the cloud at teh lowest setting.

Sorry about the line, an issue with my screencapture. This image shows the microdetail setting at its max. ps. Thats the same cloud.

No , the new sky editor can't but you can get these cloud types of images into the realistic sky easily using the backdrop or background features via photos or handpainted mattes. Mike

The new sky looks great! I'm thinking I'm going to get a lot less use out of Vue once I get C4 pro....
